RAVENA – Elaine J. Margiasso, 68, entered eternal life Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.  Elaine had worked as a secretary for several firms retiring from Regency College.  She was a Communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Ravena.

Elaine was devoted to her loving family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, John T. Margiasso of Ravena;  children, John J. (Donna) Margiasso, Thomas Margiasso and Timothy (Leandra) Margiasso all of Ravena;  mother, Ruth Travis;  and 8 grandchildren.  Elaine was predeceased by her father Wendell Travis, sister Mary Datri and brother Richard Travis.

Funeral services will be held 9 AM Friday, October 17th at St. Patrick’s Church, Ravena.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coeymans.  Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home today, Thursday October 16th from 4 to 7 PM.

Contributions in memory of Elaine may be made to Community Hospice of Albany or to St. Patrick’s Church.
