SELKIRK – Dawn M. Koster, 54, passed away on February 18, 2010 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn after a two year battle with cancer.  Dawn is the daughter of Anna Coumbes and Harry Stannard.  She was a 20 year employee of the former G.E. Plastics and now SABIC.  Dawn loved to play cards, Pinochle being her favorite followed closely by Texas Hold-em.

     Survivors include her husband Tom Koster;  her son and daughter-in-law Shawn and Lindsay Stannard;  step-children, Lisa Martin, Ken Koster, Danielle Koster and Thomas Koster;  three grandchildren, Kirstie and Colm Martin and Shea Stannard;  one brother, Harry Stannard;  and two sisters, Debbie Knakal and Anne Marie Wynne.  Aunt Dawn was loved very much by her nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday, February 22nd at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coeymans.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM.  Contributions in memory of Dawn may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
