SOUTH BETHLEHEM – Ruth Hungerford Heere, 78, died peacefully on August 14, 2010 at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Daughter of the late Harry and Permelia Hungerford of Malone, NY, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Heere;  daughters, Penny (Paul) Greene of So. Bethlehem and Caroline (Brian) Carter of Delmar;  grandchildren, Sarah and John Greene, Emma and Sean Carter;  sister Jean Cruikshank of NH;  and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Tuesday, August 17th from 4 to 7 PM.  Donations may be made in Ruth’s name to the Jerusalem Cemetery, PO Box 151, So. Bethlehem, NY 12161.
