LATHAM Ė James Anthony Diacetis, 46, passed away peacefully at home
Sunday, May 1, 2011. Jimmy was a 1983 graduate of R-C-S High School.
He retired October 20, 2003 after 20 years of service with the New
York Army National Guard and was a member of the American Legion
Post 1450, Clifton Park.
Survivors include his life partner of 17 years, Dorothy Young;
daughters, Ashley Diacetis, Amber Diacetis and Charleen (Joseph Fabe)
Knapp; parents, MaryJane and Ted Diacetis; sister, Alicia (Brian)
Searls; sister in-law, Tracy Diacetis; and numerous nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles and cousins. Jim was predeceased in death by his
younger brother, Mark Diacetis on April 21, 2010.
Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Wednesday
May 4th from 4 to 7 PM. Burial will be in the Saratoga National
Cemetery 1 PM Thursday, May 5th. In lieu of flowers contributions in
memory of Jim may be made to the Disabled American Vetís or the
Capital City Rescue Mission.
