SELKIRK – Gloria Faith Coons, age 78, passed away peacefully February 21, 2010.  Gloria was born in the Bronx on March 29, 1931 to the late Hugh and Eleanor Lightsey.  She was the beloved wife of the late Willis Coons, Jr.

     Survivors include her daughters Maureen (John) Clark and Lori Myers;  brother Preston (Rose) Lightsey;  grandchildren, Brian (Jill) Jones, Jaime (Kirk) Anderson and Rebecca (Casey) Miller;  great-grandchildren, Christopher, Preston, Jadyn, Aaliyah, Zac, Ian and Nicholas;  and several nieces and nephews.  Her son Preston Coons, grandson Michael Joseph Myers and sister Georgia Shear predeceased her.
