RAVENA – On December 26, 2008 God called our most loving and devoted mother, Jane V. Aluise, to come home to her dear Lord and to join her loving and deceased husband Sylvester J. Aluise.

     Jane celebrated her 100th birthday on June 14, 2008 where she was residing at the Teresian House for 9 ½ years and was well taken care of and loved by all.

     Jane is the mother of her devoted son Blaise and her daughter-in-law Glen Ann both of Delmar;  grandmother to Jacqueline Aluise Mann (Michael) of Maryland and Susan Aluise of Delmar;  and great-grandmother of triplets Jesse, Kaitlin and Megan Mann.  What a thrill it gave her and most proud of her great grand triplets.

     Jane was a very kindhearted person and mother always there to help.  She dearly loved her home in Ravena, NY where she was born and lived most of her life.  You could always find her taking care of her many flowers or in the kitchen baking and cooking.

  A Mass will be held on Monday, December 29th at 11 AM at the Teresian House Chapel.  A calling hour precedes the Mass from 10 to 11 AM at the Teresian House in the Williamsberg Room.

     In lieu of flowers contributions would be appreciated to the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Jane Aluise.
